A little over 4 weeks ago....

I was STILL pregnant. But now, I have this bundle of joy, 4 weeks old already! Wow how the time flies! My little guy was 7lbs 10oz and 20 inches long, he is now 21 and a half inches, and a whopping 10lbs! He is such a good baby, when he wants to! hahaha
Im just glad that Damien loves him, and isnt feeling that jealously of a new baby in the house. Its been great.
Life with 2 children is definitely different, a lot different! But I wouldn't trade it for the world.
Some people know, but not everyone. Reese, was born with cysts on his kidney and SVT. SVT causes his heart rate to be double what it should be, and the cysts on his kidney shouldnt be a problem, hopefully soon, we will get him in with a kidney specialist, and they will do an exam to check the function of the kidney, if it works, we will make a plan in the future to fix it. If it doesnt, again, in the future it will be removed. As for his SVT, I am waiting on a doctor to call me for his appointment, and they will do an Echo on his heart to see if the medication he is on is helping. Other than that, he is an amazingly healthy baby!
Hopefully soon, my mom finds my camera that magically disappeared in her house, and I will have more pictures! :)

What a month!

This month has pretty much been a rollercoaster of everything in my house! Damien turned 3! :) My little guy isnt so little anymore! He is sleeping in a toddler bed, and I couldnt be happier, now if only he would talk and potty train, we would be on a roll! Scott recently broke his finger at work, so yeah. And I went to the doctors on the 17th and found out we could be having this baby any day now. My doctor doesnt think we are going to make it till October, and if by some chance I do, she will induce on the 2nd! But with all the baby thinking, its put me on my own emotional roller coaster....Especially with Scotts finger being broken, kinda like, if I say my back hurts I get "My finger is killing me" Hmmm....Why dont you strap on a couple extra 30lbs of baby mixed in with all the pains....then, get back to me. If something is on the floor or where it doesnt go....its automatically MY job to put it in its place, last time I checked, it was his house too! UGH men will never ever EVER learn! Buty uo know what they say, "Cant live with em, cant live without em" I guess we just have to try our best to put up with things!

Hurry up Saturday!!!!!

Ok, so I have waited sooo freaking long for Saturday to get here...and its almost here! :) My baby shower! And I am so freaking excited...especially since Kristen told me she is bringing Snickers....She is the best sister in law EVER! :) (kristen....the snickers comment made my day) Im just excited to celebrate the new addition to my family with my friends and family! They are awesome. And I cant wait to see baby Reese...he is going to be so handsome just like his daddy! So this week has been full of cleaning and preparation....My parents will be here Friday to put some last min touches on the house...and then, SATURDAY! Wooot!

Today is love!

It is our one year anniversary! I cant believe we have been married for a year already!! Geez. Its been a good year. An amazing year. I love Scott with all of my heart. He has been my rock, and biggest support system. I dont know who or where I would be with out him. I am glad we found each other...and I am very glad that I get to spend the rest of my life with him. I couldnt be happier to be the mother of her childeren, and glad that he has become a father to my son. He is amazing! I LOVE HIM! :)

Its almost August!! :)

Its almost freakin August! Really!? Wow! Tomorrow is a huge day! I get to see my grandma after almost 15yrs....I am sooooo excited! :) WOOT! My brother and his wife are picking her and my momma up from the airport tonight. I wont get to see her, but first thing in the morning, Scotty is dropping me off at my mommas so I get to visit!!! UGH Im excited! Saturday we get to introduce my grandma to the rest of the family! And our friends! And I get to drop Grizzly back off with his momma! lol Its been a nice visit with him, but Im sure he misses home.
And then, in exactly one week from today....its my one year wedding anniversary. Im very much excited! Since its on a tuesday, my mom is gonna baby sit damien Saturday night so we can go out to dinner and celebrate our love! :) And soon enough, the baby shower I have been waiting soooo long will be here! I cant wait to spend time with my family!

You never realize how much you love Texas until your away!

We just got home from Lake Charles today! Im excited to be home! We had a lot of fun visiting with Scottys family and meeting new relatives!! Woot! lol
But in the mean time, I talk to my cousin, and her sister is just retarded. Im sorry, but when you have kids, its not all about you and your happiness. They should come first. Their needs and their happiness. Your on the back burner. Thats the way it works. I wish her the best, but at the same time, I hope my cousin files for custody of her sisters kids. They would be much better off with her, more stable, and definately happier. There are already a couple people who have disappointed me in my family. I dont understand their thought process and everything. I dont know....Just ever since my Aunt passed, it has made me more aware of family, and how important they are to me. No matter how things are going in the family. They are the most important people in your life and you need to cherish every minute of your time with them. Not act stupid and take advantage of them or throw them away for a single day of happiness....I dont know. Hopefullly some people understand where Im coming from. Some people just suck.

Last night

I know.....2 post in one day, so not like me. But something happened yesterday and I just dont understand. I made a huge mistake in my like 3yrs ago. And really, it was a huge mistake, something I would never do. But for some reason it happened. My family and I pay for it every day. But that was 3 years ago. Thats the past. But for some reason, some of the people I love, cant look past it. They cant leave the past in the past and realize that I have grown immensly from my mistake and I am rectifying my life. I was stupid back then, but I was young, I am still young, but I am tired of people throwing it in my face. My family knows what I did, my friends know what I did, and yet, they see past it. They still love me for me. They see past my mistake. So when you dont see me or talk to me, or dont attempt to get to know me for me NOW, you cant judge me. I am not the person I was 3 yrs ago. I had a big realization last night, and now all I can do is ignore those who dont see the real me, and live my life, with or with out them. As much as I love them, I cant have them throwing my past in my face, literally, every time I see or talk to them. So if they decide they want to look past it, and apologize, fine. I will be here, but I wont be here to have a mistake I made 3 yrs ago, thrown in my face. Not anymore. I have completely decided that I am not going to hold anything back. Disrespect someone in my house, and you will hear about it, disrespect me, and I will let you know how I feel. I cant keep walking around on egg shells worrying if I am going to hurt someones feelings because in all reality, they are hurting mine. Its time for a new me, a fresh start. And by November/December, my past will be completely gone, dissapeared. And I will be so much wiser, smarter, and stronger.
I have to remember, its not just me anymore. I am a mom, and a mom to be, I am a wife, a daugher, a sister, and a friend. I am Trista, and I have changed.

Excitement

I am very much excited for the months to come! I cant hardly wait!!! :) June is here, and halfway gone. July we get to go to Lake Charles to visit Scotts family, and I get to meet his uncle, and family. I talk to their daughter all the time, but this will be the first time we met, and its propbably been 3yrs since he has seen them! There are going to be birthday partys and good times. Its exciting. August, is a fun filled month. My friends son is having his 3rd birthday party on the 1st, our 1 year wedding anniversary is on the 8th, and my most wonderful sister-in-law is planning my baby shower for the 22nd. I seriously cant wait for that. My mom and Scotts mom under one roof finally!! (They have yet to meet) All of my friends and family who care for me, all there, to celebrate the life in my belly!!! MMMM And good food and games! :) September is a special month, Damien turns 3! I can barely believe my little guy isnt so little anymore, 3yrs old! WOW! It just seems like yesterday he was the bundle of joy in my belly! And October, who can forget October!!! IM HAVING A BABY!!!! :) WOOOO October is the month I am most looking forward to! Fo real! Then November is Thanksgiving, our year to be in Lake Charles for the holiday. Should be really interesting! And finally, December, Christmas, my Christmas to be here with my family. Last year wasnt so good, and I missed a real family Christmas with my family. They may be unfunctional at times, but they are my family, and they make the holidays sooo much fun!
Scott and I realized that every month is filled with something special, except Janurary. Whew! Its so exciting, I just really really really cant wait! :)

I cant wait for the weekend! :)

Its only Monday, but still, I am very much looking forward to the weekend already! :) I get to help out with the biggest garage sale ever! And we get to go to El Gallo on Saturday night for Mamaws birthday.
This past weekend was fun. Saturday was relaxing, and Sunday (yesterday) we spend the day at Scotts boss' house for his sons graduation party. They had home made gumbo, and it was yummy! There was crab and scallops, shrimp, chicken and sausage. It was soooooooo good! And His wife works for Fridays, so she went and picked up a crap load of ribs, so we had bbq ribs, and Jack Daniels ribs, there was fruit and veggies, and cake and everything. We were there all day. It was alot of fun, made new friends, and just had a great day! This weekend will be just as fun! :)

ITS A BOY!!

Thats right! Scott and I are glad to announce, we are expecting a boy! Im excited. His name will be William Reese Perry, but he will go by Reese. I cant wait to meet the little guy and to introduce Damien to his little brother. I most certainly cant wait for my baby shower thrown by the best, most excited sister-in-law! Its gonna be great. Please let the months cruise on by! Since I last wrote, well I cant remember what was last , but Scott and I moved, into our OWN place! haha We are renting a 2 bedroom house in Cypress. Its awesome, big back yard, big front yard, lots of fruit. We have 3 grapefruit trees, and just discovered we have a jungle of grapes growing back there!! Im really excited. Damien is getting bigger and Im hoping I can teach him and show him how to be a good big brother. Scotts work hours are getting better, and are almost back to normal. Soon everything will be back to normal. But then again as soon as they are normal, they will be crazy. The Perry house will be turned upside down! I cant wait!!!

I am ready for some relaxation!

This week has definately been a crazy one! Full of family get togethers and all that stuff. Full of early mornings and late nights! I am just looking forward to getting home, making some yummy dinner, and sleeping, sleeping IN! Haha. Hopefully next week is just laid back. Hopefully soon we will find out what we are having, a boy or a girl! Im gonna make a doctors appointment and get it all squared away! As soon as I find out, everyone in my phonebook will know! And then when I ge to a computer the whole world will know! I cant wait, it will be the highlight of my week!! WOOO!!!

This past week....

This past week has been one of the hardest, most stressful, and by far the longest week! Easter Sunday was amazing, with the exception of a couple family members who shall remain nameless were selfish in not showing up or whatever. We were supposed to have it at my moms, we were all ready for it. But at the last minute my Mamaw called us wanting us to come to her house. We did, we all jumped in our cars and headed out, some of us turned around, some of us drove that extra mile. Just to fill you in a bit, my Aunt Margaret has not been doing so well, fighting off breast cancer and all that comes with it. She has been a trooper though, I must admit! So we all went to my Mamaws to be with her, to spend time as a family together. No one could have known, but Aunt Margaret went to bed Sunday night, after a full day of being outside, watching the kids hunt for easter eggs and watching her siblings be crazy like always, after having such a wonderful meal, and probably the best cookie ever, and didnt wake up. It was hard on all of us. Scott has only known her since Thanksgiving, but he loved her, as she was family. She had an amazing life, the bestest family and friends, and the most support through out her life. She will be missed but will hold a special place in everyones hearts who knew her, who had the pleasure of meeting her! She was layed to rest Thursday afternoon right next to her dad, who is there to greet her. She was an amazing woman!

So following the funeral we go to my Mamaws, where someone cooked something that I fell in love with! YUM! anywho, we werent there long before Scott got a call his Grandpa passed. REALLY?! I had only met him once, over Christmas. So we went home, packed and headed to Lake Charles first thing friday morning. 2 funerals in one week is more than I can handle, especially with the hormones that come with pregnancy! Phew. Hopefully we find out what we are having soon. We are wishing for a girl. A little sister for Damien. Her name will be Ava Marie Perry, and if Damien should get a little brother, William Taylor Perry. You see, Scotts first name is William, and his dads first name is William, but they both have different middle names, so
I guess we should continue the tradition! :) thats all I have for now, hopefully soon I will be able to get to a computer to finish filling everyone in!

My Birthday! :)

Yesterday was my birthday. It was great. I got Scott to get me some McDonalds, and when he went to get my food, he also got me a surprise! :) Some flowers, that he had the florist put together for him. They were really pretty! He got me the flowers to make up for the flowers he got me last year. As he handed me the flowers that were placed in a gift bag, the bag broke, and the vase fell out and broke, but the flowers remained in the vase! It sucked, but he got all upset and bummed and was apologizing and I thought that was cute! So I got to be lazy all day and it was nice. And then we went to my moms. She made me sloppy joes (just like every year) and we had an I ♥ chocolate chocolate pie. It was amazing! :) All in all, besides the end, it was a good day! Now I get to wait till Saturday night to have my birthday dinner with friends. We are going to PF Changs and I cant wait! YUM! Its probably one of the best places on earth! haha
And next week....WOOO, we get to move. Our move in date is April 3rd, and boy I cant wait! Our own home!!! Its a rent house, but its OURS!!!!! Im really really really excited!

Rascal Flatts!!! :) and a good deed!

Last night, Scott and I went to Rascal Flatts! Mom got me tickets (like she does every year for an early birthday present!) and they were amazing. We had club seats right above where they bring the stage out. It was a brand spankin new stage too! We had a great view of everything, except the calf scramble, which is my favorite part besides the show. This year because of a new stage, they split up the grounds and did the stage set up on one side, and the calf scramble on the other. And we just happen to be on stage side. Fun! But none the less, I got to see it on the screens. This chick was only 70 pounds and had this calf dragging her around, she caught it and tied it though! Yay for her! And this year they did something new. They took a little bit of the grounds and set it aside for the little kids. Instead of bull riding they got to ride sheep! They hung on for dear life! It was way too cute, and the smallest cutest little girl hung on the longest, so they awarded her with a belt buckle! It was great. Then....Rascal Flatts! Man they played an amazing show like they always do! Amazing. And of course like they always say "We love it here in Texas, where the beer is cold and the girls are hot!" Song after song I was singing my heart out! So when it was time to leave, I wanted to take my time, we had a good walk ahead of us. But, it was also cold outside, so lets just say the walk SUCKED! haha. We get to my moms, pick up my little booger butt, and head home. We stopped at a gas station and this guy asked Scott for a couple bucks and said he was hungry. My mom gave us a baggy of chicken nuggets, and fish sticks and tater tots, and I had an un-opened coke. So I told Scott to stop the car, I got everything and gave it to him. Why give him money for food (or beer) when I had what he was asking for?! So we drive home, and yay! we arrive! Time to go to bed, and relax. Last night was soo much fun, and just the date night Scott and I neeeded! I cant wait for next year!! Woooo!

Some news!!

Well it has definately been a while since Ive logged in and posted anything! Ha. But this time, Ive got it! We are pregnant. Today I am 8 weeks and 1 day! Our entire families are hoping we have a girl! I need a little princess in my life! Things are good so far. The doctor said the baby is healthy, and thats all I could ask for! We will be expecting our little bundle of joy on October 9th, 2009! I hope everyone will keep us in their prayers. I am very excited and very much looking forward to seeing him/HER soon enough! :)

Its been a while!

I havent logged into my blog in a long time! Nothing really new since last time I logged in. Still doing the mommy thing, and taking care of Scott. He just started his 2nd week back to work since he had to take off for temporary disability. He still hasnt gained the weight that they wanted him to, but at least he is getting his diabetes under control. He has learned how to keep his sugars low, and is eating better now! And soon, he will be fitted for an automatic pump, so he basically will tell a little bitty "machine", if you will, how much insulin, and when to pump it. So no more shots!! :) yay!

Things have slowed down a bit. Not as busy as I started out to be. I really need to get a kick on my new years resolution! Boy, have I been dodging that one! lol
Damien is great, better than ever. We are getting him back on a NORMAL sleep schedule so he is waking up happier. Mommy cut his hair today, and if I say so myself, it looks awesome! I do a good job on his hair, that why he always looks as handsome as he does!
I found out an interesting piece of family history today! Apparently our family dates back to King Arthur times, and our name started out as Gruffuth. AND, we are related to Betsy Ross. Who better to be related to than the woman who made the American Flag?! I am amazed. I have decided to take it apon myself and make a family tree on my own. Yeah I get as much info I can from my mom and stuff, but Its something Ive always wanted to do, and now I have the internet resources to do so! I just need to do more research! :) Its going to be amazingly big when I get done with it! All the once removed family members and all that good junk. I just dont want Damien to grow up not knowing where he came from. Hopefully I can get further into the project soon! Im just so excited about it! Anyways, its really late, and I have to go to bed! :) Today was great!

Officially!!!

Well, today after 5 and a half months of being married, I finally got around to changing my name. I know, Im a horrible procrastinator! lol but my name is officially Trista Marie Perry! Its amazing! :) And I officially dislike the Social Securiy office and the stupid rent a cop! Oh well, im too happy and excited to care!!!! YAY!!!

I love Sundays!

Sundays are amazing. Most people know why, but some dont. It is one of my favorite days. Let there be rest. Not just because we all get to rest, but because I get to spend real quality time with Scott and Damien as a family. I love it! There isnt really much to do on a Sunday, but that doesnt matter when you have your loved ones by your side. I am going to attempt to be constructive today. I have some laundry that needs to be done, and some cleaning that is past due. Maybe I will do it today, or maybe I will just wait. Who knows?! :)

Well, it turns out I did the cleaning and laundry I needed to do. I ended the night with a ladies night. Leisas husband spent the night at his brothers, and Scott stayed at Ryans house, so Leisa and I watched movies and ate dinner...yum! We watched the Notebook, and Fracture. Two amazing Ryan Gossling movies!! :) Thats all she wrote!

Damien is AMAZING!

I had a great day running around town with Leisa and Damien. I love that boy!!!! We were in wal-mart and he had the girl in line behind us laughing till she was crying! And I was laughing pretty hard too! He was showing her all his little tricks! Patty cake, and peek-a-boo, and how he spits and sucks it back in, makes noises, and his new one, its weird and hard to explain, but funny! He had 3 girls laughing, just in wal-mart! He is an amazing little boy! :) I am glad I get to spend every day with him, and watch him grow and become his own little person! I am very blessed to have him in my life, and I cant wait to see how he developes! :) I love that he gives me and Scott and practically every girl kisses, and that he would rather have veggies over anything else, and I love that he sleeps with his little tooshie in the air, and everything else! He truely is an amazing, one of a kind, little ball of love!

More fun today!

Yesterday Leisa and I went running around houston! I got my hair dyed, um, Its blonde, a little brighter than I wanted, I wanted it more of a light brown. But none the less, I am going to ROCK it! :) We went looking for bachelorette party invites for Leisas BFF Nikki, and we get to pick them up today! They are gonna look awesome! And we get to do a couple more bachelorette party errands! Good times. Damien is better than ever. He has been off his sleeping schedule, but I am slowly but surely getting him back! Yay! Anyways, gotta get ready to run around

Today is going to be fantastic!

I get to spend the whole day with my bestest friend ever, Leisa. Lots to do though, gonna run around and get alot done! Not to worry, its all going to be fun! Groceries and movies and all that fun stuff!

Let me get started by telling you my story!

Recently in early 2008 I met the person I knew I was going to spend the rest of my life with. It couldnt have come at a better time. Leisa and I went to the Rodeo together, where we talked about me being alone, and I just wanted to go on a date of some sort. So, in turn she told me she had the perfect guy in mind. And boy what she right! The moment I met him, I knew this was it. She got the idea to set us up because we were both in her wedding party that was coming up in October. Neither one of imagined it would turn out the way it did. I fell in love, and was happy to marry the man of my dreams in August. I will forever be in debt to her!

Together we have our son Damien, amazing little man. Scott is the closest thing to a father Damien will ever have and know, and I will always love him for being there for Damien and I when no one else has been.

Ive been over emotional lately. Dont ask why, I dont even know! haha I guess its the memories that have been brought up by watching Leisas wedding video, and other drama I dont need, nor do I want, in my life. We have hit a rough patch, but we are ready to over come it. We are working together more as a family than we ever have, and even though things are bad, they will only get better. Bring it on 2009, show me what you got!
